HIIT and Be Happy!

Merry, happy, joy! It’s almost Christmas! No matter where you are, I wish you a Merry Christmas and hope you enjoy time with family and friends.

We all indulge during the holidays so there is nothing like a good workout to help you along!

I designed this workout to be done absolutely anywhere – it requires no equipment and, trust me, you won’t miss it.

The workout is designed to hit every muscle group with exercises that you can complete in the area the size of a yoga mat – you really don’t need the mat if you don’t have one.

This workout is tough, but it tapers so it’s manageable. You’ve got 6 sets of 3 different exercises, completing 1 set at a time and resting 1-2 minutes (or as needed) in between each set.

Start by completing all 3 exercises in succession for 40 seconds on/ 10 seconds rest. After you’ve gone through one round, go directly into a second round completing each move for 30 seconds on/ 10 seconds rest. Finally, complete a 3rd round with 20/10 second work-to-rest periods, and then take your longer break before moving to the next set.

Add in extra rest if you need it or do all 3 rounds at a 20/10 if you’re crunched for time. Enjoy the workout and more importantly, enjoy your holiday!
